Go with a Solar PV Brand that you can trust
@ Gold Coast Solar Panel SpecialistsWith current global forces and low demand for solar world-wide, many solar PV manufacturers have an over-supply of stock, and are facing an uncertain future, with many smaller firms predicted not to survive the next six months.
A report published by Switzerland’s Bank Sarasin, singles out six Tier 1 panel manufacturers that are likely to withstand the next 6 months – Suntech, Trina and Yingli from China, First Solar and Sunpower in the US, and SolarWorld of Germany.
PHOTON Consulting predicts that while in 2011 there are 110 large-scale module manufacturing companies, within three years more than 75% of these companies will fail, with only 26 remaining after 2013.
In saying that, the Australian solar market is still quite strong, with an increasing number of households embracing cleaner energy by installing solar PV systems, and slashing their power bill.
If you are looking to install a solar PV system, choosing the right solar panels for your home is crucial. Make sure you do your homework and select high quality, reputable and trustworthy brands – such as Trina, Suntech Sunpower, and Sunearth. Selecting cheaper ‘no-name’ brands is very risky , as it is likely that many of these smaller players will not be around in the near future to assist with any issues that may arise.
CB Solar’s preferred manufacturers have always been Trina, Suntech and more recently Sunpower. We also sell Sunearth panels who have been making panels since 1966. If you have a personal preference for any other brand, CB Solar can source it too.
